The Phi Sigma Rho Foundation is happy to announce the release of its 6 annual scholarship opportunities and one new grant opportunity. The Merit, Leadership, Philanthropy and Service, Sarah Rogers McClure Memorial, Francis J. Monigan Memorial, and Anne Louise Roach Legacy Scholarships are all available on the Phi Rho Portal. Each scholarship is worth $1,000. The scholarships are open from October 1st to March 1st, and the winners will be announced at the Phi Sigma Rho National Convention in Chicago next July!
In addition to the annual scholarships, a $1,000 grant opportunity is also available on the Phi Rho Portal. The Engineering Development and Growth Experience (EDGE) Grant supports collegiate Phi Sigma Rho members involved in hands-on science and engineering-based projects. These grants will support technical projects led by sisters of Phi Sigma Rho that will ultimately develop their leadership, financial, and project management skills, with fundable programs such as building go-karts, robotics, rocketry, and more. Through the EDGE Grant, the Phi Sigma Rho Foundation aims to create women leaders through hands-on experiences prior to entering their professional field. To apply, one Phi Rho representative from the team will apply through the Phi Rho Portal. Applications are open now through December 15th.
