Ameé Salois is a Physics and English double major at the University of Arkansas with a 3.86 GPA. Ameé has recently completed an internship at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., as an Astronomy Educator. During her internship, Ameé participated in the Public Astronomy Project, and was also placed in charge of the observatory for Astronomy Night on the Mall.
After graduation, Ameé plans to puruse a position at a science center, museum or national or state park aas an Astronomy Educator. She will also be purusing a Master's Degree in Museum Education, Museum Studies, Science Education or Science Writing.
